The decor of this sprightly 18-year-old aims at fun: strings of silvery Christmas decorations, disco balls, palms laden with fairy lights, wooden carvings and old-school theatre spotlights. Glasses of crayons are on the tables should creative inspiration strike, while the basement has a cosy snug for four near the toilets, together with another dining room full of colourful cushions. The appealing, fresh menu nods to world flavours (India, the Middle East, the Mediterranean), and we had difficulty making a decision. Artichoke salad was a light flavoursome starter; grilled halloumi came orangey-red, thanks to its tikka and yoghurt dressing. Ordering laksa, we expected a steaming bowl of spicy Singaporean soup noodles, but instead received a small amount of thick sauce underneath vegetables, tofu and plain egg noodles, topped with a single wun tun; the potatoes were incongruous and unnecessary. Still, the sweetcorn tostado, a tower of crisp corn tortillas filled with black beans, was a success. Service was efficient and friendly, if a little harried; the bill came as a final scrawled figure with no breakdown of costs – no blah blah blah there! Note that payment is by cash only – though, on the plus side, this is a BYO establishment.

One of the best restaurants we have visited for a long time . The dishes are simple and taste fantastic Their sauces and relishes compliment the dishes well. The desserts are also fresh tasting and well made. Good BYO deal. C u there
Visted last night and we were all very impressed with everything. The dishes were all tasty and presented beautifully. The music was also pleasent and made the evenining enjoyable together with the lovely service. Worth a visit.
Entertaining vegetarians has never been easier; almost every restaurant offers two or three well-devised dishes, yet going to an exclusively vegetarian restaurant seems like more of an effort made to please. Entering Blah Blah Blah in Shepherds Bush was encouraging as every table was full and the atmosphere appeared merry. The main complaints of this restaurant had been the over inflated corkage charge – but on booking a table their lack of alcohol licence was explained.
The surprising small menu; comprising of roughly six starters, a few salads and six mains, offered little choice, although the dishes were influenced from every corner of the globe. Between us the order consisted of a terrine, tempura vegetables and sushi. All ample in quality and size aside from the terrine which was little more than chilled grilled vegetables with lack of delicate presentation.
The single waitress, smile firmly in place, was obviously unable to cover all the tables as starters, mains and drinks were being sent out at a rapid pace. Unfortunately our starter plates remained on the table long after we had finished eating and the wait for the main course seemed unnecessarily long – especially as only three out of the four meals were served together.
The standard of the food was variable. The pie appeared to be the most solid choice, although the cold potato rosti and insufficiently flavoured horseradish puree were disappointing. The chef’s special of vegetable tali was an embarrassment to both vegetarian cooking and Indian cuisine – fortunately this item was removed from our bill.
All in all this was a disappointing choice of restaurant, even though good research had led us to believe it is hailed as one of the best veggie options in London.
One of the nicest places we have visited in a while .The food was out of this world and we could not imagine how they put vegetables together with fresh herbs to put on our table a meal which looked and smelled great. The taste was also devine and plates were soon empty.Their prices are reasonable for what you get and their politeness is welcoming. Highlly recommended
Excellent food, nice atmosphere and is very inviting. The food was nicely presented with good sized portions. One thing i would recommend; please have side-orders. Definately going back with more meat loving friends. Thumbs up
Went on a Tuesday night and was quite busy. There was one waitress and she was very busy but friendly and bubbly. The food was devine, beautifully presented and lovely flavours. We are not vegetarians, but would definately go again!
