There’s a relaxed and cosy feel to Zara, and the food is excellent, which makes this an ideal place to stop after a walk on Hampstead Heath. In summer, the glass front opens on to the wide pavement and there are tables outside. Inside, cushioned benches run along the walls, which are decorated with Turkish paintings, patterned tiles and photos. Mixed meze were served with first-rate pide and included handsome sigara böreği, beautifully textured egg-shaped falafel, a rich kısır, cacik and houmous. To follow, the grilled sea bream with salad was superlative. Külbastı – yielding, thin fillets of grilled lamb with oregano – were equally good, accompanied by salad and basmati rice. The menu also includes vegetarian dishes. Zara is the kind of spot where you feel like staying for a leisurely pudding or coffee (and, indeed, syrupy Turkish desserts and Turkish coffee are available). Staff were exceptionally helpful. Highly recommended.

Great food at a great price and really good service. If I had to moan then I would only say that the house wine is poor. But that's a minor point in what is a great place to eat.
amzing turkish food and at a very high standard.
i am a vegetarian and often i find it hard to find restaurants that make high quality vegetarian dishes. The staff are friendly rather than formal but very efficient. An exellent restaurant, i recommend to all.
Simply the best turkish
