A prime location in the shopping centre above Fulham Broadway tube station ensures that this sleekly decorated den is often full of young locals tucking into generous portions served by friendly staff. Clear beaded curtains hang down over large, square communal tables. We began with battered squid with ginger, garlic, coriander and young peppercorns; it was tasty but arrived cold. Lamb red curry was an even bigger disappointment, consisting of chewy, overcooked meat coated in a sauce that was too creamy. Things improved with a crunchy, spicy and sour som tam salad, and a grilled duck noodle salad that combined soft slices of duck with cherry tomatoes, lettuce and mung bean noodles, plus a dressing of chilli, lime and garlic. Large one-plate dishes seem the best value here; come for the noodle salads.
