This hole in the wall beside Charing Cross station shouts fast food'; with its high stools and bright lighting, it's not somewhere to linger. Despite this, the menu is much more diverse than the usual kebab or sandwich joints, with dishes ranging from Moroccan lamb tagine to chicken fajitas. In the past we've enjoyed the salads, such as italian parma' and spanish tuna', and the curries, especially rogan josh; but on our most recent visit, some chunks of haddock over packet egg noodles, supposedly rendered Japanese-style' by the addition of ginger, was soggy and disappointing. Tiramisu is served in an individual plastic tub, supermarket aisle-style. Unusually for a fast-food place, it's licensed, and sells a selection of potable wines as well as bottled lagers.
