Re-heated home-made cooking is the order of the day at this mega-cheap Indian takeaway. A tower of lurid orange jalebis balances on top of the counter, teetering unsteadily like a sugary Jenga tower, as the chefs re-heat the curries and fry up glistening naan breads on the hotplate. The crackle of flies hitting the blue light bug zapper is a little disconcerting, and you can't help but wonder just why there's an abandoned fridge in the corner, but the super-friendly service and fantastically tender curry goat provide more than enough reason to pop in if you're in the area. You may want to take your own cutlery though. This being Deptford, the sharpest implement that they're prepared to offer to customers is a plastic spoon.
