This cosy little pizzeria is ideal for a chat and a chew. Inside you’ll find rough-hewn tables, little pod stools, big wax church candles and ambient music (Kruder & Dorfmeister on a loop during our visit), along with a huge plate-glass window through which to gaze at the hectic goings-on of Dray Walk. There’s no menu. Everything is chalked up on blackboards hanging on a wall – ‘everything’ being pizzas, generously topped with well-sourced ingredients. The pizzas are rather like Alsatian tarte flambée: thin crispy oven-baked dough covered in the likes of roast chicken and mushroom, prawn and green pepper, or five-cheese (gorgonzola, feta, parmesan, mozzarella and mascarpone). Our ham and artichoke pizza featured coppa air-dried ham and came on a board with a pile of rocket. With the exception of a margherita (£9), they’re all £10. Beers include Freedom and Canabia; wine is either £4 or £5 a glass or £14-£20 a bottle. There are also plenty of coffees and teas, plus ice-cream (butterscotch, honey and ginger) for afters.

I like camping in the rain and music that makes my heart skip. I love looking up at the stars. I like the smell of tar and the feel of snowflakes...
I LOVE THIS PLACE. The pizza is amazing! Soooo thin , tasty with toppings piled high. I wouldn't class it as cheapy cheap, but it is definatley worth the money! Fresh and yummy with loads of Veggie options (possibly more that non...) which we always appreciate!
