Here's a novel concept: seeing inside the kitchen of a kebab joint. Normally, the idea would have you running for the hills, but funky Flaming Nora is not your normal kebab house. From the arty decor on the walls to the lo-carb' options on the menu, it's a different beast to the average fast-food grease palace. The service is friendly, the burgers and kebabs come in wrappers saying things like luvvly lamb', and as a boon for the health-conscious the meat, from beef to salmon, is grilled. Nora is let down by not having quite enough seats for eating in, but then it is primarily a takeaway place. And, should you forget that, just take a look at the ingenious extras' they sell: condoms and breath freshener. We're saying nothing.
