Steve Rubie’s candle-lit, Parisian-style basement jazz club has been chilling out jazz aficionados both here on Lots Road and at its former location (606 King’s Road) for over 30 years. There’s music every night – ten bands a week – and the number of musicians that hang out after work give it some serious muso credibility. Diners can choose from a menu that changes regularly, but typically includes such dishes as salmon teriyaki, wild boar sausages with herb mash, and nachos. Note that if you’re not a member, you have to dine.
