London's best review, food and drink news
Every night is party night at Blue Hawaii. Surrey’s own slice of the Big Island sees flowery-garbed waiting staff serve cocktails to bolshy birthday groups and after-work parties in a restaurant-cum-beach-hut setting. Ingredients are cooked to order on a big teppanyaki grill at the front; choose from a selection of vegetables, meat and seafood, mix in own-made Hawaiian sauces, select some spices and you’re away. Cocktails are reasonably priced at around £4. Saturday nights play host to resident Elvis impersonator Matt King, while Sundays are more family-oriented.
