  • Every night is party night at Blue Hawaii. Surrey’s own slice of the Big Island sees flower-garbed waiting staff serve cocktails to bolshie birthday groups and after-work parties in a restaurant-cum-beach-hut setting. Ingredients are cooked to order on a big teppanyaki grill at the front: choose from a selection of vegetables, meat and seafood, mix in own-made Hawaiian sauces, select some spices and you’re away. Cocktails are reasonably priced at around £4. Saturday nights play host to resident Elvis impersonator Matt King, while Sundays are more family-oriented.

The Blue Hawaii no longer exists - the entire ground floor of that block has been demolished! So don't try turning up, hoping for a table, or you could be waiting for a very long time!

A day is really wasted if you haven't had a laugh, hey? :-) I really love being immersed in life; whether it be sprawled in a park; sweating it out...
