With a name like TGI Friday’s you’d expect this determinedly cheerful chain to be most suited to an end-of-the-week, down-the-tools knees-up – but in practice, Friday’s is doing it for the kids. Yes, there are plenty of candy-coloured cocktails and a big central bar, but the focus is on big, noisy parties for those in short trousers, not suits. Enthusiastic staff welcome kids with a goodie bag of puzzles and stickers. The children’s menu gets a big thumbs-up from little diners. Carrot sticks and cucumber may be an option with the cheeseburger or fish fingers, but this is more of a ‘smiley-face potato waffle and wriggly worms with ice-cream’ kind of place. For parents, there’s a comparatively varied menu of Tex-Mex, sticky barbecue choices and steaks, although the inevitable burgers and fries are a safe bet.

being american i used to go to tgi all the time especially growing up in the states but here the last two times ive been the quality has gone real down hill everything just taste bland and oily nothing like the branches in america i just dont think they care anymore. the drinks have gotten very weak you cant taste any alcohol yet they still charge £7 a drink. not impressed dont waist your time or money cause its not cheap for nasty fast food go somewhere else.
