A dark, warehouse-sized space, Cheers is loosely based on the old TV show of the same name, but the relationship between the two is hard to see (outside of the souvenir T-shirts and mugs bearing the familiar Cheers logo). Dishes are named seemingly randomly after characters from the show, but there the crossover ends. This place is known for showing major sporting events on big TVs, when it gets so packed you can hardly move. The food is mostly an afterthought: the burgers are tough, the fries flaccid and the salads generally flavourless.
