A corner of Chinatown that’s been Japanese since 1992, Tokyo Diner may not be the trend-setter it once was, but it has acquired a patina of homely authenticity. The inexpensive set meals are even cheaper between 3pm and 6pm. We love the cool aubergine agé bitashi topped with a thick slice of lotus root.
