  • Have been going here for a few years, normally for the set choice at lunch. Have to say I think portions not the most generous on that particular deal but a pleasant place.

  • I love this restaurant. The staff are very friendly. Food arrives very quickly and is very tasteful. The nonya-kui are delicious. Definitely the best Chinese - Malaysian restaurant in London.

  • Went there last night: the food was delicious, the portions generous, and the service quick and very friendly. Nice atmosphere and very good value.

  • I really like this place, so I'm puzzled by the negative reviews from other users. The food is good, I try and go for something different whenever I go there and I'm yet to be disappointed. The staff are very friendly and the prices are very reasonable for the area (most restaurants around here charge a fortune). Knocks the socks off of the thai place next door.

  • I went to Sedap last night before going to the Barbican for a show but the restaurant was closed. We were just about to go to the Thai place a few doors up when we saw the owners waving to us from up the road as they were were 15 minutes late to open up. I too ordered the char kway teow and like Annie's comment, the portion was half the size of that of what you would received in Malaysia Kopi Tiam or C & R and also more expensive. I wouldn't have minded so much if it tasted fantastic but the noodles didn't have the required smoky taste and the prawns were utterly tasteless. I was so hungry when I got home that I had to make another meal. I would not recommend this place at all and would say that C & R and Malaysia Kopi Tiam are far and away miles better.

  • I went there with my friend for lunch. I ordered Char kway teow from the full price manual. 10 mins later the waiter brought me a half loaded portion of noodle which looked like a side dish, very disappointed. Although it tasted very delicious, for this price range, I probably won’t go back for lunch.
