The multi-functional Solo Bar and Restaurant of Camden Town is not just a dining room and drinking den but a vibrant and diverse live music venue tapping in to the local passion for new and exciting sounds as well as Camden favourites such as Pete Doherty and ex-Oasis Phil Smith on the decks. A favourite on the scene since way back in 1999, the Solo Bar and Restaurant has moved with the times, makeovers keeping the look of the space fresh and stylish throughout without becoming pretentious. While the bar serves up classic and contemporary signature cocktails and a fine selection of wines beers and spirits the restaurant is known for its fusion of classical British cuisine and old school soul food, a combination as eclectic as the live line up, ranging from stews and pies to roast dinners and gumbos. A bit of a celebrity haunt and a favourite of musos from throughout London.

Solo Bar = really great food, good music, brilliant atmosphere. Me and my three friends bought 2 cocktails for the price of 1 each & then had a nice meal. Really reasonable price and we thought we would be leaving after but ended up staying all night because there was some good bands. Completely recommend + will be going again soooon!!

I had a great night out in Camden last Thursday and spent the best part of it In Solo Bar & Restaurant with four of my colleagues. An absolute jewel in Camden! We were entertained by cabaret performances and musicians and had an amazing meal at very reasonable prices – 4 main courses and 2 bottles of good Pinot for £80. Would recommend this place to anyone looking for a great night out in Camden.

We went to Solo Bar & Restaurant in Camden on a rainy sultry August Sunday evening – just happened to be in Camden after ramaging through the markets. Had superb cocktails at happy hour deals of 2 for the price of 1 and feeling a little peckish, we decided to have some bar snacks – 5 in total – we just could not help it ! They all sounded so good. I must recommend the honey sesame seeded chilli ribs and Jerk beef skewers with peanut sauce. I really didn’t expect to get such quality and superb value for money . We stayed until the end of the happy hour – 9pm !!!!!!

First time there on Thursday at Guinea Club and saw a bendy man and a brilliant female impersonator, burlesque, and a great vocalist made even better when i was told about Happy Hour and tasty food... can't recommend enough!

Came here by chance last Thursday and enjoyed a great meal (Had the fish finger sandwich which was amazing) whilst eating we where surprised to see a great caberet performance, staff where really helpful and the atmosphere was to die for. A great find in the heart of Camden.
