The perfect leaping-off point for a night out in Soho, Taro’s Old Compton Street branch (the other is on Brewer Street) is regularly packed with a mixed crowd of office workers and students. Though the dining room is at basement level, it’s surprisingly light and spacious with sunshine streaming down from the street-level window above.
Curry rice, fried noodles (yakisoba) or donburi all make filling choices, and they won’t break the bank at £7-£10 each. A spicy fried pork dish could have had a bit more pep, but agedashi tofu was crisp-coated and ample in size.
A range of different Japanese foods including sushi, ramen noodles, yaki soba, tonkatsu, karage, don, takoyaki and bento boxes. Taro also opened a third branch in the City, 44a Cannon Street, EC4N 6JJ, in 2012. We are delighted to announce that we are providing one of the best Japanese meals to customers according to the customer reviews.
Taro Restaurant, Old Compton Street is also popular choice to do parties as we have a separate party room. We think about customers always, so we serve quality food without any compromise - all within reasonable prices.
We are very grateful to our valued and loyal customers who have provided us with excellent customer feedback providing our service as the greatest standards.
