This family-friendly Thai restaurant in Hadley Wood is a cosy place for catch-ups with friends and after-work meals. The dining room at Thai Eighteen is neutrally decorated with off-white walls, dark wooden furniture and oak floors – the pièce de résistance being the large century-old sepia prints the owners sourced from the National Library of Thailand, and the fresh and fabulous MSG-free menu. Locals love classics such as the green Thai chicken curry, Tom Yum soup and the red duck curry, and we also recommend the crispy soft-shelled crab and Thai fishcakes made with lemongrass and lime leaves.
