There's a modern look to this pub and dining room in West Hampstead. It shares its name with its sister venue over in Queen's Park - another of seven London venues owned by the Urban Leisure Group. It's gastropub fare, craft beers, cocktails and wine - a combination that proves popular with locals.

I live around the corner, and have been here on numerous occasions. I mainly like this place as a quiet and relaxing place to do work in the mornings and early afternoons, and by the looks of the other tables seating one person with his/her head in a notebook or a laptop - I'm not the only one. The atmosphere is really nice and the waiting staff are always very friendly and nice. The food is average, but I like the small plates they do, and I like to combine them to make my own meal. My favourite has become the chicken liver parfait with a blue cheese and walnut salad. The coffee is good - and creds for doing organic soya milk - I don't mind that the waiters always apologise about it "splitting" when steamed. I've also had cocktails for both breakfast and dinner here with success! When it's sunny, it is lovely to sit outside on the terrace, and it seems to always be packed in the late afternoons around august/september. This is my local bar to chill, work, go for a cocktail and meet friends, and it feels a bit like a home in a convenient location on West End Lane.
