  • Best place in SW as far as my husband and I are concerned. The food, service and atmosphere are always spot on. Never had a bad meal or average experience there - it's always outstanding.

  • The Depot was disappointing to say the least. Lovely location but badly managed. New waitress serving on a busy Sat night. Spilt the wine. The chef does not make proper chips. When I tried to complain they were off the shelf chips, the staff made out they did not understand. The manager badly handled the situation. He expected me to pay towards the steak & continually engaged into an argument with me. He clearly does not know what the chef serves up & there appears to be no relationship between himself & the chef. I could have knocked up a better steak & chips myself. The soup to start, was badly under seasoned. Upset & disappointed.

  • I have been in this restaurant last week for the first time and I ll defenetely come back again! I had lovely evening in a relaxed and pleasent atmophere, having dinner on a table with view on the river, beautiful. We had a 3 course meal with wine for a reasonable price, especially considering the high quality of food. Top: the bavette dish.. Melted in my mouth! Nevertheless, I found the almod tarte was a bit too sweet for my taste.  Despite the busy night the service was good and the staff never stopped smiling.  I have to say that it's not really easy to get there the first time, it helped the directions of some friends who already visited the restaurant.

  • We went to the "The Depot" tonight for dinner.. I've never seen a restairant so packed on a Tuesday night! We manage to get a table outside even if we did not book, it was such a lovely evening! The food was just fantastic (I would raccoment a "small" starter and a main, but save room for a pudding!) and the staff friendly and smiling even if, you could see, very busy and tired.. Overall a wonderful experience, we will go back on Saturday with friends!!!

  • We had a lovely dinner last Saturday night at The Depot. The place was absolutely over-packed, but our food arrived without waiting as long as we expected and it was just delicious and tasty. Good music, great atmosphere and nice people. The staff was friendly and smiling even if extremely busy. This place is perfect if you are looking for having a relaxing dinner, eating well cooked food and enjoying a few bottles of good wine without spending half of your wage. Definitely go back soon. Strongly raccomended.

  • I like The Depot. Its special. The food is always tasty and I know its not fine dining but my friends were so complimentary and the pork belly in an asian sytle was really authentic. I love the atmosphere and the Frenchman who does the door is friendly. I drank a Mojito and felt quite happy, which helped me relax. So many people knew each other and they seemed to enjoy themselves. I thought it was a really good experience. I wish I lived close by! Thanks to everyone there.

  • Crispy duck salad followed by some cod and spring veggies was all good and the atmosphere, on a warm June evening, was fab. We found the service friendly if a little flustered, but it was buzzy and busy! We've been before and will go again and feel lucky to have discovered a mid priced place of this quality in such a stunning location. Recommended; and sit on the outside terrace if its sunny....its a haven from the hussle and bustle of city life.

  • I recently went to the Depot for a romantic supper with my husband and we had a great evening. We managed to book a table by the window and had a lovely view over the Thames as the sun set. The menu has good variety for a fussy eater (me!) and good sized portions for the hungry (him!). The food was delicious and very nicely presented. Our service was excellent, the waiter showing good wine knowledge and we were welcomed warmly on arrival. Despite it being a weekday evening the restaurant was full with a few people drinking at the bar giving a great fun atmosphere. Infact we had such a good time we returned the following weekend for lunch with our young children - they loved it too and the waiting staff were superb with kids. We'll certain be returning and have recommended it to our friends.

  • I'm with Clare on this one (NO, we're not mates!) this place is doin' it for me. Never been a dessert boy, but they've managed to convert me. First came with my Mum & Dad 15 years ago, now going back with my mates.
