Very good food, great pub, excellent. Positives - we didn't book, but at 2pm got a table immediately. Main Courses, expecially roasts fantastic, sizeable portions. Bar and Waiting staff very good, proffesional and prompt. Negatives - We had Spanish starters to share and didn't quite live upto expectations, having 2 Spaniards in our group didn't help! It was a suprise to see something like Chipirones on the menu, we polished them off but not the best. But that really is desperately finding something to moan about. All in all at a time the 6 nations was on, England playing, there was zero waiting time at Bar or Resturarnt. Food for the area priced about right, all in all good value. (£130 for 5 adults and 2 children)
