Great little pub just a stone's throw from Trafalgar Square. The Old Shades has more character than most London pubs, possessing a vintage charm, remeniscent of the inside of the House of Commons. Real Ale is our pride and joy and there are usually 5 or 6 different ones to choose from at any time. The food is mainly traditional faire with beer battered haddock and chips being our biggest seller.
We would also like to believe that if you come to the Shades you will get a great warm welcome and good service from people who genuinely want to be there and know how to smile..... Come see for yourself!!!
