Penny Black is dedicated to traditional British cooking, using local ingredients where possible. As well as the signature beef Wellington, meat dishes include luxury burgers (foie gras with an apple and white onion confit and truffle chips), rack of lamb and tornedos rossini. Or there's surn'n'turf, or a whole lobster in a garlic and herb butter. The comfortable bar is a destination, too, with over 100 wines by the glass.
