A no-fuss Punjabi corner café, Five Hot Chillies puts all its efforts into the food. Even during a sparsely attended Sunday lunch, the fish tikka arrived from the open stainless-steel kitchen freshly seared, and the mixed bhajias (big chillies, onions, potato patties) had seemingly leapt straight from the pan, so crisp and light was the batter. Less satisfying was some overcooked rounds of patra. There's a huge choice of mains (arranged in non-veg and veg sections, and here called 'steamers') with the array of vegetarian dishes especially notable. Karahi methi chana featured soft chickpeas and abundant fenugreek leaves in a copious gravy. Karahi corn on the cob came in half-inch slices bathed in a tomato-based sauce. Good too was the karahi tinda gosht the flavour of the lamb marrying well with the juicy marrow-like tinda. There's also plenty of unusual breads and rice to try. We relished the pungent garlic nan and onion kulcha. A request for mild dishes brought forth curries that might have been called medium elsewhere, but despite its name, not everything at Five Hot Chillies is a scorcher. Staff were friendly and prompt.

Facilities
Babies and children welcome ( high chairs ), Booking advisable, Takeaway service, Vegetarian menuNo fuss cafe is correct-surroundings a bit off putting -but the food is fantastic and great value. We get regular take aways from there as the food is better and cheaper than our works restaurant.
Would recomend -don`t be put off by the tables and chairs -the food is what matters
I have been there many times and have always stuck to ordering Chilli Paneer as i like it so much. But in my last visit i was reccommended to try the Fish for starters and Keema naan. I was not dissappointed at all. It is a no fuss, relaxed atmosphere. Also doesn't hurt your pocket at all.
The food is of fantastic quality with an amazing selection of Asian dishes, all cooked to perfection. The Fish tikka and Chilli paneer were both very appetizing and the prices are fantastic. I have visited 5 Hot Chillies on many occasions and would return for the mango milkshake alone!
A beautiful, warm atmosphere with friendly staff and flavoursome food. A superb dining experience, absolutely stunning!
Delicious, tasty, cheep .... large variety of non-vegetarian and vegetarian dished made to order, spice level to your likeness. Finger licking grill, every dish that I have tried in my regular visits, were right on the money.
No fuss, casual environment, ideal to get together with friend and family every now and then, have good time and good food at the same time, which is easy on your pocket as well. highly recommended...
