Seen from the pavement, La Luna doesn't look especially impressive. Cross its threshold, however, and you're spirited into an oasis of calm, miles from the noise and gritty greyness of the street outside. The atmosphere is welcoming and cosy, largely because the staff couldn't be friendlier; as for the food, La Luna is renowned for its pizzas, and a giant, authentic-looking pizza oven has pride of place in the middle of the restaurant. We opted for the pizza of the day, a delicious combination of smoked mozzarella, pancetta and sun-dried tomatoes, and an elegant confection of aubergine, courgette and goat's cheese; both exceeded expectations. La Luna definitely remains one of Camberwell's best-kept secrets.

Just eaten at La Luna for the 1st time and amazed by quality of food and service. Great little place with delicious pizza, incredibly friendly staff and lemon sorbet to die for. Surely 4/5 at least?!
This is my favourite Italian restaurant in London, bar none. Great service, fantastic pizza and pasta - especially the linguine and great value.
We love this place and it definitely deserves more than 3 out of 5. Warm service, brilliant pizzas and lovely house wine.
This place is a little gem and deserves more than 3/5. The pizza here is as good as if not better than Pizza Metro (the so called best in South London). The place doesn't look great from the outside, but the pizza's are top notch. It's cheap and the staff are nice (often not the case in Italian restaurantants) too. Well worth a try.
