Although it stands next to a busy junction, there's a relaxed, family feel to Terra Mia, fostered by the dog-eared postcards and football memorabilia scattered around the walls, and by the cheery, child-friendly service from waiters who swap banter in Italian. There's a handful of specials (starters and mains) chalked on the board, but the core of the menu is a solid and fairly priced range of standard pizzas and pastas (choose your own shape), prepared in simple, unpretentious and satisfying fashion. The desserts - mostly based on ice cream - have something of a straight-from-the-freezer air, but overall, eating here is a comforting experience. You'll feel like you're having supper with your Italian in-laws.
