Though it has the inglorious feel of a motorway café - all bright lights, blaring television and lone businessmen diners - Tito's is held in affectionate local esteem for its no-nonsense, quick and easy menu and friendly staff. The food is mostly Peruvian in style, which translates as hot, meaty and heavy on the carbs: expect items like papa rellena (a potato patty filled with beef and onions) or papa a la huancaina (sliced potatoes covered in milk and cheese). Cocktails, for people who feel up to them, involve a lot of pisco, also known as 'Peruvian firewater', and can be knocked back for a relatively affordable £4 a pop - just keep track of how many you've had.
