A homely little taverna just off the main Camden drag, Andy's caters to those looking for an easy-going meal in welcoming, unfussy surroundings. Diners range from groups of overseas students to couples who are clearly regulars. Everyone is well looked-after by the congenial owner. The low-ceilinged space is simply decorated in typically Greek blue and white, the walls adorned with touristy island photos and snaps of the owner smiling alongside various customers. The food, unfortunately, could do with a little more work. Green olives with a bitter tinge and too-salty pickles brought with the menu were improved upon by satisfying starters of tzatzíki made with thick, creamy yoghurt and served with puffy, oven-warm, sesame-sprinkled bread. The vegetarian platter appeared to be good value, and included toothsome grilled halloumi, but had little else to recommend it - the spanakópitta and moussaká were too greasy, the pepper had been stuffed with bland rice and scant veg. Meat dishes are somewhat better: the souvláki tender yet lacking that essential chargrilled flavour; the perennially popular kléftiko cooked, rather unusually, with tomatoes. Be sure to order a malty, refreshing Keo beer, which beats insipid lagers every time.

Was only sorry we were english as staff couldn't do enough for the greek customers that were there at the same time, My son has been before this was his 3rd visit but he wont be going back
I went here with my wife as we were looking for an authentic Greek restaurant. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. We had the set menu for two and the food was delicious and reasonably priced. We had a very good night and would go back again and recommend it to anyone.
A group of 15 of us ate lunch here last week. They gave us the dinner menus and tried to talk us out of the lunch menus. We ordered and were told one price for our meal but was overcharged on every meal on the ticket. Food was very mediocre. We will NOT be back and we are telling our friends not to bother.
I took my partner there on a Friday night. I got the recommend from the internet and I am so glad we went. Attentive, but not in your face, the staff are prompt and courteous, great food and great value for money, I would suggest this fine eaterie to anyone. I will be going back in the future, thank you Petros.
I am a Greek student here in the UK i have tasted a lot Greek restaurants but the Andy's Taverna is the best of all them. The quality of food is very good the staff is very helpful and the atmosphere is very friendly. Finally the price of the food comparing the best quality are very reasonable.
