Chopstick has Chinese staff, red lanterns and - apart from the absence of pork - a menu typical of many Soho noodle bars. Most starters and many of the chicken dishes arrive in batter (though many are immersed in sweet, bright sauces); thinly sliced steak comes in a peppery sauce; and vegetarians will be pleased to find curried and stir-fried veg here, as well as crispy seaweed and edamame (soy beans in their pods). The set menus are popular with hungry teenagers - though parents might want to avoid the potato wedges and caramelised chicken wings, and could well prefer a pot of green tea to the insipid sorbets. Don't miss the delectable chocolate fritters for dessert.
