This popular enterprise is a classy, continental establishment with a double life as yet another spot in the Clapham/Battersea orbit where as-yet-unnested grown-ups go to drink and find each other.
It's all pretty upmarket: rugby plays on TF1 while City types mingle in bistro surroundings and commune over wine (also available by the carafe), Moretti lager or Bulmers cider by the bottle, or a pint of Theakston's, Amstel or Guinness.
Excellent food is available (rib-eye steak baguettes with melted emmental, charcuterie platters), but the plastic being casually waved around at the end of the evening is just as likely to be for booze-only carousing.
