A farmhouse-style table of fresh breads and huge Kilner jars of jam greets customers to this friendly organic-leaning café and grill. Light rye toast comes as standard with dishes such as smoked salmon (superb) with scrambled eggs and avocado. Orange juice is proper freshly-squeezed, well-made coffee comes from Illy and there is a great list of spicy infusions. The spacious gastropub-style tables help soften the industrial decor, as does a generous shelf of books and magazines, while huge windows and plenty of parasolled outdoor tables allow gazing over Paddington Basin and its surrounding building works.

Meal for two with service: around £25
been 3 or 4 times now and will make it a weekly treat. Great food at a good price and what a fab welcome from Erica the waitress. Well worth a visit.
Core Grill is a found treasure!
Everything is so fresh and healthy! the atmosphere on evening is very relaxing and the staff is extremely nice and helpfull! we had a nice chat with the italian girl!
We ordered Tuna steak , Goulash and a bottle of their Organic Wine (highly recommended!). Before our meals they served us some complimentary garlic bread and olives. nice touch!!
I will defo come back to try their brunch!
I found the food overpriced and the staff very unhelpful. I was also given a a piece of chicken which was very pink inside. The manager told me that was normal and did not offer an alternative or a refund. Not happy.
Lunch for 4 on a Saturday, and we're still raving about it. The chicken platter for 2 was hot, generous, fresh and really tasty. My sirloin steak burger was equally lucious. Prices were very fair and we'd love to have Core Grill move into Royal Arsenal in Woolwich - their quality would ideally suit our demographic. Great food. Well done.
I went to Core for dinner and it was excellent. The food was great and the service amazing. I had the Sirloin steak and I would recommend it. Had a great selection of healthy meals. I would definitely come back again.
