It's worth checking to see what discount vouchers are available before visiting this chain; many customers were taking advantage of a 40%-off offer during our visit. Yo! was founded by Simon Woodroffe (who now just takes a 1% royalty on sales). The core menu of sushi served via conveyor belt has steadily expanded to include a wide range of tempura, gyoza, katsu and hot rice dishes. It's good to see chefs cooking instead of just shaping and sprinkling. But it was no surprise that when they attempted to hand an over-full bowl of steaming-hot soup noodles all the way across the work bench, conveyor belt and counter - it spilt.
