Time Out says Rate it
This grown-up sister of the ASK chain is becoming quite fanciable after a series of makeovers with glamorous new interiors. Like ASK, Zizzi offers calzone as well as pizza, 15 or so plates of pasta and risotto, and salads. The fiorentina pizza is made delicious with creamy buffalo-milk ricotta and a final flourish of grated nutmeg and garlic oil. Wines start at £12.95 a bottle for trebbiano or Montepulciano d'Abruzzo, and all apart from the Chianti and champagnes are under £25. Desserts looked interesting (caramelised bananas with waffles, warm tart of plums), but service was so slow we began to wish we'd never ordered them.
