The Kensington branch of this popular burger chain is an airy, minimalist space with yellow walls, dark brick flooring and an open grill in the middle. A similar simplicity rules the menu.
There are no elaborate reinventions of the burger here, just five easy options - classic, cheese, bacon cheese, chicken or veggie - with the traditional accompaniments, leaving you free to enjoy what is superior comfort food.
Assorted salads cater to the calorie-conscious, and a strong list of craft beers will please enthusiasts. With such an informal atmosphere, cordial staff and high-quality, unpretentious fare, it's not surprising that Byron continues to expand at such a rate - the business, established in 2007, opened its 17th restaurant in 2011.
