Another new Asian restaurant in central London - this time, a fusion of Japanese and Vietnamese cooking.

The well-priced menu features classics from both cuisines, including spring rolls, sushi and noodles.

Possibly the worst experience i have ever had! We were given two menu's - one for the taste card and one for non taste card. The non taste card menu was alot cheaper so they had obviously put the prices up for the taste card menu. Annoyingly we forgot our taste card so asked that instead we had the normal lunch menu. We were told that they couldnt do this because the portions were different. when asked the difference they said they do not know the difference in portion size but you actually got the same number of items per portion so it didnt make sense. The waiter couldn't ask the kitchen because apparently the chef didnt speak English. The manager was conveniently out at a meeting! They then put service on the bill and we refused to pay this, they said that we had to pay because they didnt have an authorisation code to take the service off - this was £15! They also claimed not to have the 2 cheapest wines. Overall a horrendous experience and would not recommend at all. A waiter who actually lied to our face. Disgusting.

Appalling. We had made a reservation for my aunt's birthday. When we arrived, they asked us to sit in the "reception" area [read cheap seats against the window by the door looking over the tacky decor in the restaurant].

Eventually a rude man came and informed us that he had given our table away because we were 45 minutes late. We were 10 minutes late. When we pointed this time difference out, he checked our reservation and saw that we were correct.

However, he then argued that our watches were wrong and that we were 17 minutes late. My job means that it is important for my watch to be 100% correct... however, I didn't think that there was any point in arguing the point. The rude man then said that he would give us a table in about an hour. We left.

Nobody called us before giving our table away and we never received an apology. If they had called us to say that they were about to give our table away, I would be more understanding. However, they gave our table away after 10 minutes without bothering to call. This is London - a 10 mintes hold up is hardly unusual.

I have never encountered such appalling service at a restaurant and will never return.

Food was very disappointing as I was hoping to find a good Vietnamese restaurant closer to home. The Pho was flavourless, and the starters were cold and tasted like something out of the frozen food section. I would not return as this place falls far behind Thanh Binh in Camden, my favorite so far.

My new born babys party £65 P/Head: Champagne Reception,Caspian Beluga Caviar Bellinis,Soup white asparagus with shark fin,Sushi,Zuzu calamari,Salmon Tartar,Suckling pig. Main: Italian Truffle rib eye beef with Foie Gras. OR Lobster Tail in a creamy coconut spring onion and chive sauce. Dessert Chocolate fondant with homemade sorbet. OR Taro & coconut milk Refreshments Fruit.
The white asparagus soup is a rarity, full of flavour, texture and class with the sharks fin hmmm it's my favourite soup now I havent seen it anywhere else. Sushi was very fresh; the Zuzu calamari had alot of compliments for its flavours of kiwi and herb infusions bursting on every crunch. The most spectacular dish for me was the Truffle rib eye beef with Foie Gras, all my favourite ingrediants with a perfectly cooked M/Rare beef in a light brownish redish sauce the only thing is the truffles could have been a touch softer going into the mouth like a firm mushroom; the foie gras melted just how I like it fab.
Service was 8 out of 10 very well done for 3 floor staff looking after 50 people and 1 staff looking after 13 children in the karoke room(well done!). By the way the kids said they loved there special menu and the kareoke room gave it an extra buzz for them.
Alot that attended have been going back to eat and kareoke, as their regular menu is definately fair priced and the atomsphere and facilities suits us. Normal spend £15 each inc wine based on 6 adults evening dining.
