Until spring 2011, Century was open to members only, but now the restaurant has been opened to the public.

It's owned by Pierre and Kathy Condou, who also run the lofty Paramount in the nearby Centre Point building.

Food here is mostly straightforward renditions of Modern European brasserie dishes, and there's a wood-burning oven used for roasting a range of well-sourced British meats.

In January 2012 bar impresario Jonathan Downey stated, via Twitter, that Century and his Milk 'n' Honey private bar/club memberships were being 'merged' into 'What I hope iwll be a great new club'.
