Set in the bustling kosher area of Edgware, this new Brazilian-style venture offers a buffet meal for £25, along with à la carte grills and salads. It's a bright, pleasant space, with purple art on the walls and purple napkins.

The food is brought to you straight from the rotisserie; choose the churrascaria option and it will keep coming, the flow regulated by diners who indicate with a table-top red/green sign if they are ready for more. 'More' is the operative word: starting with salad, bread and dips, the waiter brings chicken wings, followed almost immediately by sausage (chicken or beef chorizo) and beef kofta. Next come lamb chops, chicken breasts, pieces of duck and even prime rib of beef. As accompaniments, there's a small choice of side dishes: chips, segments of corn on the cob and refreshing grilled pineapple.

Understandably, staff don't allow some people to order à la carte while others at the same table choose the all-you-can-eat deal. Quality? Our lamb chops were sliced curiously thinly across the bone, and the kofta was dry, but the duck and slices of rare beef proved worth the wait. Just don't fill up early on too many sausages.
