The all-day dining room at The Berkeley offers all day dining. Prêt-à-Portea, the nameof their afternoon tea offering for the fashionista, has the style-conscious firmly in mind. It takes direct inspiration from the catwalk, changing every six months to reflect what's hot in couture. So you might get a jumpsuit-shaped biscuit based on a Marc Jacobs design, or a Victoria Beckham tote bag made with sponge and icing - and it's all dished up on flashy Paul Smith china. It may sound gimmicky, but it's actually great fun, particularly since the chic little sweets are so well executed. The savoury fare is a treat too, with canapés (for example a shot of chilled soup, or smoked salmon roll) following the mini sandwiches in place of more traditional scones.
