Hallelujah! What could be more life-affirming than a big breakfast, eaten against a backdrop of the London skyline and soundtracked by The London Community Gospel Choir? This new weekend attraction is on offer at Millbank Tower's Altitude restaurant.

Went to a club night at Altitude 360 (Millbank Tower). Have to say, was really disappointed by what was on offer, considering it’s in such a beautiful part of London.

Staff were a bit strange before we even walked through the doors. Was asked weird questions by a representative how we heard about the club, as apparently we should have signed up to a guest list. Uh hello! You should be happy I’ve turned up to spend my money not asking me why I’ve come. Wasn’t even that busy so I couldn’t understand why they were so odd. Should have turned around and left then!

Next we couldn’t pay by card to get into the venue as they only accept cash, so had to walk a good 20 – 25minutes to find the nearest cash point. It’s 2012!! I thought everyone accepted card these days at the entrance? Obviously not!

Eventually, paid £20 to get into the club, which was definitely a waste of money. The club itself had a very pretentious atmosphere. No personality, just a room full of people all dressed up but too scared to ruin the perfection of their nice suits and dresses.

Cheapest drink was £100, which for me was totally inappropriate (don’t they know the entire country is going through a recession?!?!?). Only thing I could afford was the shots of alcohol, which in my opinion was 10% alcohol, 90% fruit juice.
Music was only for those who enjoy rnb and hip hop otherwise, it’s definitely a no go area for someone who likes versatility.

Overall we left the place just after 20 minutes of enduring it. The only thing I gained from this night was the power to decide all future nights out due to my friends bad choice. If I was looking for a good night out this would not be my first choice again. Or second. Or third.
