A café that doubles up as a florist may sound perfect for a romantic lunch, but Coby's isn't an amorous sort of place: the rattle of tube trains reminds you every five minutes that you're eating beneath a railway arch. The menu is perhaps a little too varied, with Jerusalem toasts and falafels jostling for space next to pasta dishes, crêpes and pizzas; still, order carefully and you'll be pleasantly surprised. The melwach (Yemenite pastry) is baked on the premises and comes with a delicious, fiery sauce. There's no alcohol to wash it down with, but the mango smoothies are freshly made and great value. Keep an eye on the expensive extras, though - we weren't particularly enamoured by the prospect of paying £2 for a Nescafé or £3.60 for oven chips.
