Temple Fortune isn't the obvious place to seek out Mediterranean café culture, but with the advent of Din Café - an establishment blessed with outdoor seating, a sociable, relaxed atmosphere and simple, well-made food - that state of affairs may well be changing. We were impressed by the Boerewars roll, which was filled with a lightly spiced lamb and beef sausage as dark and rich as venison, and the fresh and chunky fruit salad. The lime green walls might not be to everyone's taste, but it certainly brightens the interior almost as much as the friendly and personable South African owners. They like to change and adapt their menu, so expect new dishes - especially now they've started opening for dinner.
