Located near London Bridge station – across the road from London Dungeon if you’re having trouble finding it - Azzurro is a laid-back Italian restaurant with a contemporary Deco-esque twist and a cosy basement bar. The dining room at Azzurro has a warm, vintage vibe and is decorated with an eclectic mix of sofas, old church pews and chunky wooden furniture, making it the perfect venue for business lunches, office parties and intimate evening meals. The food philosophy at Azzurro is simple: use quality fresh ingredients to prepare classic Italian dishes. Specials change frequently here, and the menu will always provide an appealing mix of traditional antipasti, salads, pizzas, pastas and risottos as well as meat and fish dishes, so that you could start your meal with a bowl of marinated olives, followed up by a mixed antipasto platter and a steaming bowl of spaghetti Veneziana (prawns, crayfish, garlic, chilli, tomato and cream). Desserts, too, are worth a mention – finish off your meal with a creamy tiramisu, refreshing gelati or a digestif like limoncello from the bar.

I visited Auberge last week after work with colleagues and we all want to say a huge thank you to the staff for making this one of our best 'team experiences'!!!! We were just having few beers to welcome a member of staff back from maternity leave and it turned into quite a late night with a lot of laughs! The staff at Auberge were amazing, they gave us a big table downstairs with plenty of seating. The waiter was very attentive, taking drinks orders and recommending a food platter (very tasty!). Nothing was phenomenal or out of this world - but the comfortable surroundings and friendly staff were perfect for a spontaneous staff night out!
Thank you!! See you soon!
Ate at Auberge London Bridge today for the first time and horrified by what was overpriced dog food. Our party ordered the margarita pizza (which looked like a acne faced teenager/lunar surface hybrid), hot (or rather tepid) club and vegetarian sandwiches - made with part frozen ciabatta bread (well it was pale and had an odd 'dampness' to it)... if that's not put you off the waiting staff will - who were quite simply rude and abrupt (the waiter managed to start an argument over the way the pizza was sliced with a our neighboring table)....
