The Lambourne restaurant boasts a great southwest London location on Wimbledon’s bustling Broadway – just opposite the Polka Theatre. The interior is casually elegant, with smart black furniture, tiled floors and denim blue walls; the atmosphere is similarly laid-back and unpretentious. The open kitchen allows you to keep an eye on your meal – choose from daily-changing specials plus a great selection of dishes straight from the grill. Steak is always a good choice at a grill restaurant, and the meat here is 28 day aged and comes direct from Smithfield. There’s also a tasty-sounding burger, plus a range of fish, chicken, duck, lamb and vegetarian options; there really is something for everyone here. Take advantage of 2 for 1 cocktails during happy hour, visit for a Sunday roast or a quick prix fixe pre-theatre meal, or take full advantage of the a la carte menu during a relaxed meal with friends.

What is 'following'?AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!!! Worst dining experience ever!!! Booked through toptable for my anniversary with a 50% of main courses. When we arrived, we informed to a waiter about our reservation, but that we would first have some drinks at the bar. There, instead of charging the drinks to the bill they asked us to pay them inmediately. Then when we sat down, we told again about the offer that we booked to another waiter and he said we would get 50% off the mains. We ordered Steak and pork, and for 17 pounds the steak was just a steak, with exactly 8 fries!! no salad, no bread, nothing else. The pork was a tiny piece with a tiny bit of mash potato, and i had to leave a half on the plate because it was all fat!!! The waiters kept coming and coming to the table to check if everything was OK, which was quite annoying to have then so often! After finishing, we were still starving but it was like 6 pounds for a piece of cake, so we decided to order the bill and leave. The waiter came with the bill with no discount at all and expected us to pay with no explanation. When we said what about the offer, they said we had to order 2 courses EACH. We said that they should have said that at the beggining when we were ordering, so that we would have ordered something else. The manager was extremely rude to us and we were arguing for nearly 20 min with all the rest of the people looking at us! We didnt get an apology, and in the end the manager said the only way to give us a reduction would be to pay for other 6 pounds extra for a piece of bread! He added the bread to the bill and gave it to us in kitchen foil to take away!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He sent a waiter to give us the bread and charge for the dinner, and he just dissapeared, and we left hungry, angry, without an apology and with a 6 pound bread to take away!!!!
Will never come back there!!!!!!!! RIP OFFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thorooughly enjoyed an evening meal at Lambourne Grill and Bar, Wimbledon but, although we were only four at table, we had to shout at each other to talk. Why must the music be so loud?
