Situated on London’s Marylebone Road in the heart of The Landmark Hotel’s stunning eight-storey glass atrium, The Winter Garden restaurant makes a fabulous place to don your Sunday best and swank about like a Hollywood star. This was once one of the last grand railway hotels, now remade for wow-factor dining. Open all day for breakfast, lunch, traditional afternoon tea and dinner, The Winter Garden restaurant is dotted with towering palm trees and is finished in the hotel’s unique mix of eastern flair and contemporary design. A pianist tinkles away in the background. Try grilled half lobster with brown crab toast, or a carpaccio of wild mushrooms with pickled walnuts. The award-winning afternoon tea is really something quite special, complete with French pastries from the Landmark’s own patisserie, freshly baked scones and assorted finger sandwiches. Service is top drawer and discreet enough to satisfy a starry clientele.
