If you find yourself craving curry in North London, head for Gulshaan – one of Kentish Town’s most popular Indian restaurants. Situated right next to the tube station, it’s ideal for mid-week lunches and laid-back dinners before a gig at the Forum or a night out in Camden Town. The chefs use fresh herbs and spices and prepare each dish in the style of the region it originates from to guarantee an authentic flavour. The menu features familiar favourites like baltis, biryanis and seafood dishes like the spicy prawn madras. For something a little different, try Gulshaan’s signature dish – Murgh Bade Saba, which is chicken cooked with green chillis, coriander, ginger, yoghurt and a unique blend of herbs and spices. You won’t be disappointed!

I love this restaurant and have taken many friends and colleagues to eat here. So far no one has been disappointed! Our favourites include the butter chicken, chicken korma, saag aloo, lamb bhuna and channa masala! There is something for everyone and the staff are attentive. The food tastes really fresh and presented beautifully.
Tiny portion and extortionate takeaway price, then found piece of chicken in a vegetarian dish!! Complained about above only to face excuses and argument - disgusting experience - won't eat from here again which is so disappointing as we love curry. AVOID this place if you like value for money, decent portions, vegetarian food and decent service! If you want to be ripped off, annoyed by the owner, hungry at the end of the meal and to find meat in vegetarian dishes then you should eat here; enough said.
