Located on Red Lion Street, just a stones throw from Chancery Lane and Covent Garden, Bacco is a warm and welcoming restaurant and wine bar – perfect for post-work catch-ups and pre-theatre dinners. The interior is bright and airy with smart wooden floors, leather seating and large windows creating a stylish but unpretentious space for lunch or dinner. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable and will happily guide diners through the classic Italian menu. Popular dishes include pan-fried veal escalope with mixed mushroom and truffle oil; Tuscan-style pappardelle with slow-cooked hare ragout; and the delicious taglioni with scallops, crab, garlic and olive oil. Bacco’s thoughtfully compiled wine list is a real treat for connoisseurs and wines from the various regions of Italy.

I just enjoyed a wonderful dinner with a friends at Bacco in holborn. I am generally not easy to please, I think Bacco is an outstanding restaurant with delicious food. After a long search I finally found a place which with reasonable pricing actually has excellent service in London. Staff was very friendly and the food was superb. Try this place, it is worth it!!

Had a lovely time in London's Bacco Restaurant on Red Lion Street (Holborn district).
Service was great and the food very tasty.
Place was very well run.
Would recommend to anyone. Will go there again.
