Cous cous connoisseurs and schmoozy foodies adore this local Moroccan and Lebanese restaurant on the Fulham Palace Road in London. With its exotic lamps, warm red walls and richly coloured textiles, the dining room at Fez creates an atmospheric Moroccan-ese mise-en-scène and the restaurant is always filled with the local 30-something Hammersmith set. Perfect for parties and dates, this cosy venue has a moreish menu and signature dishes include the Kallaj Lebanese bread filled with Haloumi cheese for starters, and the Cous Cous Royal – cooked with chicken, lamb and merguez sausages, and the Lamb Tagine - made with cinnamon, honey, rosewater and prunes - for main course. Fez can arrange bellydancers and live music for parties.

food was excellent, nice ambiente, The only point to mention is that the service was a bit slow.

Distinctly average fayre. The starters were laughable. My chicken wings were bland and tough and my wifes vegetarian mousaka was a tepid plate of chickpeas, beans and aubergine in a tomato sauce. Lamb tagine main was fine, chicken cubes in lemon juice was dry. Baclava were great, but overall poor effort. Would not recommend. Seems popular though so I shudder to think how bad the local competition is!!
