Beginning life as one of London’s very first sushi restaurants, Mitsukoshi on Lower Regent Street goes from strength to strength even in the face of increasing competition. Critically acclaimed for over twenty years, Mitsukoshi combines a simple sushi bar with a more laid back restaurant area in which food can be lingered over alongside a glass of sake or a Japanese beer. The entire venue is very unfussy with décor kept clean and light without unnecessary frills and fuss to distract you from the equally unfettered food.
