The Cuban Restaurant and Bar in London’s ever fashionable Camden is a revolution in dining. You see, The Cuban is much more than dedicated to its style, the team going so far as to travel to Havana to source rums and borrow from local menus to produce the most authentic atmosphere possible. Watched over by the classic portrait of Che Guevara, The Cuban’s dining room is lively and vibrant, decorated in chilli red alongside bare brick walls, chalkboards, brightly coloured murals and Cuban flags. Cuban cuisine is one of the world’s most diverse, inspired by everything from the spice of African food to the mellow flavours of Spanish tapas and all of this flavour is found in the menu here at The Cuban which reflects the fun and frivolous side of dining with a whole host of sharing dishes to enjoy alongside the perfect mojito. Every effort is made to avoid additives at The Cuban, dishes made using natural, well sourced ingredients, much sourced locally.
Sorry, booking is not available at the moment.
Been to the Cuban in Canterbury and wanted to try this while in Camden. Still had great atmosphere and wasn’t sure why the reviews were so bad. I ate in the upstairs restaurant and had drinks downstairs before and after so maybe the food/service was different downstairs for dinner. Once again it took about 15 minutes to get our table even though we hadn’t booked beforehand but we enjoyed drinks at the bar in the meantime. Location in the market was great as well. Fun place, I recommend spending a day in the Camden market and a night of food and drinks here.
Just awful! The whole experience of visiting The Cuban was a nightmare, from finding a table (although we had booked), to ordering drinks and food, food arriving over 2 hours after we had arrived at the restaurant (quality of food very disappointing) to surly and unhelpful staff.
After initially subverting our order from the set menu into what was actually in stock, the main meals eventually arrived two hours after we had sat down by the bouncer who aggressively pressed that what was ordered as a side had 'suddenly' and was no longer available. One person at the table never received their order!
