In the centre of London’s world famous West End, right on The Strand, is The Brasserie at Charing Cross, the main dining room of the Charing Cross Hotel. A grade II listed building filled with grand old Victorian character and gloriously regal features worthy of Queen Vic herself, the Charing Cross Hotel’s style is found in full force within The Brasserie and its accompanying lounge and cocktail bar, where contemporary style meets antique chic, decorated in an airy palette with luxurious deco-inspired furnishings, huge floor to ceiling windows and relaxed, sophisticated atmosphere. A fresh and seasonal menu with a mainly British flavour is The Brasserie at Charing Cross’s specialty, the perfect choice for tourists seeking to sample our cuisine, for pre-theatre dining only a stone’s throw from some of the world’s best stages or for a traditional afternoon tea enjoyed in the luscious surroundings of The Lounge. Eleanor’s Cocktail Bar is the perfect place for a digestif or a bottle of excellent wine.

What is 'following'?We visted this resturant for our anniversary after being given a voucher. On arrival we were impressed by the setting, however after a cold welcome and clear annoyance at being ' another guest with a voucher', we were soon disappointed. The staff, when apparent were not suited to working with the public, our starter took neary an hour to arrive and the food on the whole was tasteless and unappetizing.I strongly advise against this restaurant - its no surprise that it is empty on a friday night! We visted this resturant for our anniversary after being given a voucher.
