Partly thanks to its location in artist-dense Hoxton but also due to its knowledgeable staff, Artwords has its finger firmly on the pulse when it comes to contemporary visual arts publications. As well as offering a vast collection of up-to-date books from the UK, the shop regularly imports new works from Europe, North America and Australia.
Stock relating to contemporary fine art dominates, but there are also plenty of architecture, photography, graphic design, fashion, advertising and film titles, plus a range of DVDs and industry and creative magazines – including the Eastern European import Piktogram, the painting-specialist TurpsBanana and the interdisciplinary Cabinet.
