One of London’s trendiest clothes shops, b store’s reputation as a stockist of innovative fashion labels remains unimpeachable – where else can you pick up clothes designed by this year’s Saint Martin’s graduates? Choose from both emerging and more established designers, including Ian Batten, Opening Ceremony and Peter Jensen.

The in-house b Store label goes from strength to strength, with stylish but wearable clothing for both men and (since 2009) women. The look manages to be simultaneously avant-garde and classic, with simple cuts, muted tones and a unisex aesthetic composed of simple blazers, striped T-shirts and linen shirts; created originally as a shoe brand, the label’s large collection of footwear remains equally cutting-edge.

The store itself often houses installations by artists, and also stocks a range of trendy fashion and photography coffee-table books.
